The Black Lion

“Inspired by the ever-changing beauty of Broken Bay, I found myself captivated by the interplay of light and shadow during my walks with my dogs. The landscape transformed with the passing day—Lion Island morphed into ‘The Black Lion,’ while Mt Ettalong took on the persona of ‘The Buffalo.’ Each moment offered a new palette, a fresh atmosphere to capture. With the boldness that Chinese painters refer to as ‘great verve,’ I embraced the colors and emotions, painting without hesitation.”
